Ernestine Findley Forbes, 91, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 peacefully at home with family by her side. She was born in Savannah, daughter of Ernest and Vansceal Findley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Forbes and brother, Buddy Findley.
Her legacy as an exemplary Catholic, loving mother, and corner stone of the family is remembered by her daughter, Glenda Beach, her sisters Patricia Hewett, Josephine Nasworthy, Frances Jacobs, her brothers Burt Smith, Billy Findley, and her many grand and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm on 8/1/15 followed by a funeral service at 12 pm at the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks with burial service immediately following in Bonaventure Cemetery.
Glenda, Giving up your Mother is one of the hardest things you will ever have to do. No words I can say will take away the pain. Try to remember that she will never hurt or cry again because she is with our blessed savior and one day you will see her again. Wrap yourself in God's love and grace. Susie Ingram
